Data Subject Application Guide

Application methods, mandatory information, rights, and downloadable form under KVKK.

1. Scope of the application

Data subjects may submit a written application to exercise their rights under Article 13 of KVKK. Applications should be made through one of the methods listed below.

2. Application methods

3. Information that must be included

  • Name, surname, and signature for written applications.
  • Turkish ID number; for foreigners, nationality, passport number, or ID number.
  • Residence or workplace address for notification.
  • If available, e-mail address, phone number, and fax number for notification.
  • The request subject and supporting information / documents.

Applications by proxy

If someone other than the data subject applies, a special power of attorney must be submitted for the authorized representative.

4. Rights you may exercise

  1. Learn whether your personal data is processed.
  2. Request information if your data has been processed.
  3. Learn the processing purpose and whether it is used accordingly.
  4. Know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad.
  5. Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  6. Request deletion or destruction under Article 7 of KVKK.
  7. Request that correction or deletion actions be notified to third parties.
  8. Object to adverse outcomes created solely by automated analysis.
  9. Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

5. Delivery method and timing

The response may be delivered to your address, to your e-mail / KEP address, or by hand. Applications are concluded as soon as possible and no later than thirty days. If the process requires an additional cost, the Board tariff may apply.
