Septic Tanks

Anaerobic Purification Reactor Technology

Fully sealed septic tanks complying with TS EN 976-1 standard for rural areas, construction sites and temporary settlement areas where central sewage infrastructure cannot reach. 'Leaky' (blind well) systems, which were common in the past, are prohibited by the Water Pollution Control Regulation. Our GRP tanks are not simple storage units, but passive purification reactors where anaerobic bacterial processes take place.

Traditional reinforced concrete septic tanks undergo structural deterioration as the sulfates in the wastewater turn into biogenic sulfuric acid. Our GRP tanks provide full resistance to subsoil corrosion, penetration of tree roots and wastewater chemicals.

Technical Advantages

  • 100% Leak-Proof Guarantee: Monoblock body, leak-tightness verified by factory water/air pressure test, zero risk of environmental penalty.
  • Biogenic Corrosion Resistance: Complete immunity against sulfuric acid formed by H₂S and methane gases, does not rot like concrete.
  • Ribbed Structure: Resistance to soil load, lateral pressure and vehicle traffic with 8-10 mm wall thickness and outer ribs.
  • Dalgakıran Curtains: Implosion protection against sudden vacuum effect during vacuum pumping in 10+ tons tanks.
  • Correct Ground Preparation: Long life with 15-20 cm lean concrete bed and chickpea gravel (3/8 inch) backfill that does not contain stones/rubble.
  • Level Difference Flexibility: Special wall thickness increase for standard 30 cm, optional 50+ cm embedding depth.
  • Capacity Calculation: Optimum volume according to household and withdrawal frequency, based on wastewater production of 150-300 L/day per person.
  • Layout Rule: Minimum distance of 15 meters from septic tanks and pollution sources.
